Day 10 or whatever...

I have managed to catch up and they are ALL of the cutest thing in the world. ME. Just kidding. Tripparooni is who they are all about.

He just thought it was the funniest thing to point his finger at me. I kept telling him NO and he would giggle and point that finger. I am in so much trouble!

This is his thinking man pose. He was watching Monsters vs Aliens. Couldn't figure out if he liked the movie. I will let you know his decision.

Day 9

Mammie's 80th Birthday

We all went to Long Horn's Steak House for lunch. Tripp ate shrimp for the first time and loved it. He was actually well behaved through the dinner. No noise really and he did eat with a fork. Dan enjoyed his salmon tremendously, but the fun didn't start until dessert. Mammie was brought a simple scoop of ice cream with whip cream on top. The fun began...

Tripp decided he wanted to try some.

MMM, This stuff is good.

He decided he wanted some more. Mammie was more than happy to share.

Tripp has yet to learn how to share or even restraint. He wanted some good stuff.

He was proud of his conquest. He couldn't stop licking his lips for several minutes.

He decided to share his ice cream booty with others. Grandma was the closest victim. Open wide Grandma! Happy Birthday Mammie.

Day 8

I wish I enjoyed the simple things this much

Toys and gifts for your first birthday: $200-$300
Christmas Gifts from all the family: $400
Plastic cup from Coca Cola factory: Free
Enjoying playing with it instead of all the expensive toys in the background: Priceless

Day 7

Bath Time Baby

Bath time was just way too much fun for me to chose. I just love bath time with my son. It is like catnip for the little tike. He enjoys it so much. I just can't get enough of his giggles.

After the bath is even more fun. Who knew peek a boo could drive one crazy?

Seriously this kid loves bath time!

Day 6

Got Milk, Who cares, Give me my Chair!

If you are not into my baby, then this week of post is not for you. He is what made me happy so I took pictures. Tons of pictures. This one is Tripp climbing in and out, over and over, into his favorite chair. He has one at home and one at Grandma Karen's house. He just can't get enough. Even feeding time couldn't stop him from his fun.
Yes I am aware that My last post was on Wednesday, but to be fair I did take a picture everyday I just have not posted them daily. I will do so and explain each one I swear!

Day 5

So I decided that the pictures this week will be unedited and raw. No playing with the camera and no set ups. I am just going to shoot. Sami gave me a High Five for getting home early. She is just a good little doggie. Love her pieces.

Day 4

I actually ventured outside today to take a picture. It is a sunshine wind chime. Tripp loves to play with all the bells at the bottom. I got this wind chime in Helen, GA on September 26, 1998. Not many people remember when and where they got something so simple more than ten years ago. I had gone with my mother to Helen from Athens my senior year of college. It was a warm pretty day. It was the day before my father passed away.

Day 3

I was able to get my dogs to actually mind me while I was trying to take a picture of them. Sami was the only one though. The other two just ran around and barked a lot. I call this one, "Biter 'er leg". It is what Christopher says to Sami to have her get Tippie off the bed. She loves this game. Tippie not so much!

Day 2

I didn't have much time to explore with my camera today. I was disappointed that I could not, but my son was a wonderful subject. I am going to try to keep my baby pictures to a minimum but he is the easy go to subject. So preciously cute. He could be a model I tell ya'. He is so peaceful when he sleeps, but hell on little knees when he is awake. Watch out world.

Day 1

So I have changed my way of looking at the world. I am a teacher of Mathematics in a very difficult school in the a small college town. I have also recently purchased my brand new favorite camera the Nikon D3000. Each day will bring a new picture. Good or bad I will pick one and post it everyday and explain where it came from. I imagine this will be the most boring blog ever, but here goes.

This first picture is of the beverage of choice. I chose to drink one glass tonight while I played with my favorite camera. I think most will agree the sippie cup in the background gives the picture that extra flare. I must learn how to crop now.
